Easter Cupcakes – How to Make an Easter Bunny Rabbit Cupcake

Easter Cupcakes – How to Decorate an Easter Bunny Rabbit cupcake. I show how to decorate an Easter bunny rabbit cupcake for Easter. I am using fondant icing which is an icing you can get from your local supermarket. It is a sugar dough which can be used as an edible modeling material for making cake decorations such as flowers, or to fold over a cake for a smooth appearance. To make fondant dry quicker & set harder (for the rabbit ears in this case) I add a little Tylose Powder which you can get from cake decorating supply shops. If you dont have Tylose powder you can leave it out but you just need to allow longer time (a few hours or overnight) for your ears to set. At Woolworths in Australia you can get a brand of fondant called Orchards White Icing in the cake decorating section. I am using a brand called Bakel’s Pettinince Icing. You can go to my YouTube channel mackandnorm for tutorials on how to colour fondant with food dyes, how to ice a cupcake to get a smooth finish with buttercream before decorating with fondant and also how to make edible glue.
