Paleo Diet Recipe: Chicken Fried Steak

In this video I show a way to make a Paleo/ Diabetic diet friendly dinner of Chicken Fried Steak and Mashed Fauxtatoes.

What you’ll need:

1 Flanks streak 1/2 inch thick
2 eggs
2 cups of Almond Meal (how to make it in this video)
1Tsp Garlic Powder
1Tsp Curry Powder
1Tsp ground Ginger
1 Tsp fresh Thyme
3Tbs Olive oil

PRE-HEAT OVEN: 250 f

STEAK:
Tenderize and flatten steak to 1/4 inch thick. Soak in eggs. Roll in almond meal.

Heat oil in skillet on medium. Place meat in skillet (4 minute per side). Remove steak and place on cookie sheet. Place in oven for 10 minutes.

Mashed Fauxtatoes:

Steam Cauliflower (5 min in microwave). DO NOT DRAIN! Mash Cauliflower when steamed and add

1 pinch Garlic Powder
2 pinches Chives
