Chinese Pork & Apple Meatball Recipe (Chinese Meatballs)

Welcome to Chinese Cooking. My name is Xiao Wei, even at a early age I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in northern Chinese, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes.
400g Mince Pork
150g Apple
3 Slices Bread Without Crust
3 Spring Onions
1 Tsp Ground White Pepper
1 Egg
Salt to Taste

1. Peel the apple & remove the core, then grate
2. Finely chop the spring onions
3. Remove the crust then finely dice the bread
4. Place the mince pork into a mixing bowl
5. Add the egg, apple, bread, spring onion, white pepper, salt into the mixing bowl
6. Squeeze and mix all ingredients together, leave to marinate for 5 minutes
7. Take 1 Tbsp of the mixture into you hand and roll in your palm to form a ball, place onto a dish
8. Repeat this with rest of the mixture
9. Heat 1 litre of oil in the wok
10. Place the meatballs into the wok one at the time, deep fry for 5 to 8 minutes on medium heat – do this in batches if needed
11. Remove the meatball from oil and drain
12. Place onto a dish and serve
