Ground Meat Recipe and How I Do It Simple
I buy one pound of ground turkey sausage tubed is fine and 6 to 7 pounds of ground beef. I usually use the 80 percent lean. I think it is called ground chuck in some areas. I mix it all in a big bowl with the following:
4 to 5 Eggs (medium size)
2 Tablespoons Garlic (minced)
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
4 Tablespoons Onion (dried minced)
2 Tablespoons Milk
1 Tablespoon Pepper ground
Seasoned Salt 1/2 teaspoon per pound of meat or (need to slack off the season salt to consider the amounts of salt in the ketchup and Worcestershire)
1/4 Cup Ketchup
As if I measured instead of guessestamating.
I mixed it all up and shaped it. My meatballs were nicely cooked in my oven after 25 minutes at 425 degrees, I turned them half way at the halfway time too.
If I was using this for a meatloaf I would take out almost enough meat for the loaf size desired and add bread crumbs, croutons, crushed crackers, or quick oats to it. ( cheese flavored crackers, and or p
All bake times are different, depending on ovens, temperatures, and personal preference.
