Pomfret Dopiaza – Most Spicy Delicious Fish Recipes in Bengali – Sea Fish Recipe

Ingredients of Pomfret Dopiaza:
1. Pomfret fish (2 pc).
2. Sliced onion (1 big size).
3. Onion paste (1 big size).
4. Chopped tomato (1 big size).
5. Cumin powder (½ tsp).
6. Slitted green chilli (4 no).
7. Red chilli powder (¼ tsp).
8. Turmeric powder (1 tsp).
9. Garam masala powder (½ tsp).
10. Ginger paste (½ tsp).
11. Garlic paste (½ tsp).
12. Salt (as per your taste).
13. Sugar (as per your taste).
14. Mustard oil.

Methods of how to cook Dopiaza with Pomfret Fish:
1. Marinate the fish with ¼ tsp salt and ¼ tsp turmeric powder. Keep it for 10 min.
2. Heat the pan and add mustard oil in it.
3. Fry the fish properly. Keep aside.
4. Fry the onion slices and keep aside.
5. Keep 4 tbsp oil in hot pan. Add onion paste. Fry it well.
6. Add ½ tsp ginger paste and ½ tsp garlic paste. Fry it for 1 min in high flame.
7. Add ½ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp turmeric powder, and ¼ tsp red chilli powder. Mixed it well.
8. Add ¼ tsp salt and ¼ tsp sugar. Add some water and cook for 2 min in high flame.
9. Add chopped tomato and green chilli. Fry for 1 min.
10. Add 1 cup water. When boiling add fried onions and fishes.
11. Cover it for 5 min in medium flame.
12. After 5 min turn over the fish and cook for 5 min again in medium flame.
13. Now cook in high flame. Add ½ tsp garam masala powder. Mixed it well.
14. Put off gas oven and cover it for 5 min. Pomfret Dopyaza is Ready.
15. Serve hot Pomfret Dopiaza with hot steamed rice, roti, paratha etc.
