Welcome to Xiao’s Kitchen – A cooking channel dedicated to creating some of the world’s best Asian dishes

This is such a delicate, yet flavoursome dish you will love it.
(Reduce the steaming time for smaller prawns)

Ingredients:
500g Raw Prawns
½cm Ginger Root
1 Spring Onion
2 Cloves Garlic
1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
1 Tsp Wasabi
2 Tsp Light Soy Sauce
½ Tsp Sugar
½ Tsp Peanut Oil
Salt to Taste

Methods:
1. Finely Chop the ginger, garlic & spring onion
2. De-vein the prawns
3. Place the prawns in a mixing bowl.
4. Add half the spring onion, ginger, garlic and salt into the bowl of prawns.
5. Leave for about 30 minutes
6. Mix the remaining ginger and spring onion, wasabi, vinegar and peanut oil
7. Also add the soy sauce and sugar into the same bowl for the dipping sauce.
8. Place the prawns into a steamer and steam for 4 to 8 minutes depending on the size of the prawns until they are cooked.
9. Transfer onto a dish and garnish.
10. Serve with the dipping sauce and enjoy.
