2 pounds peeled and deveined shrimp
1 ½ TBS paprika
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. onion powder
½ tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. dried thyme
2 TBS unsalted butter + 2 tsp. oil
6 garlic cloves – minced
Mix the paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt and thyme in a bowl.
Place the cleaned shrimp in a bowl and add the spices. Toss well to coat all the shrimp.
Melt the butter with the oil in a large skillet. Add the shrimp and cook until the bottom turns a dark pink/salmon color. Flip and finish cooking until you no longer have any opaque. This should take around 4 minutes total. Remove from heat and serve.
